multi color scarf

This scarf was made with yarns of varied colors. The white is I Love This Yarn. Finished size is about 6" x 66". Pattern is straight dc with four rows of white between each color and a round of sc in white around. There are 138 rows.

I'm quite pleased with the way this came out. The hardest part is finding yarn that matches in thickness. Sometimes it is hard to tell even when putting them side by side. That could be my bad eyes. LOL That said, I think I did an okay job of it.

short bitty scarf

Here is the last Bitty Stripes scarf from the two skeins I had, 10 oz to a skein. It's smaller than the previous ones at 5" x 48". I used a Furls wooden I/5.5mm hook. I started with a chain of 18 and worked 85 rows.

Bitty Stripes Mermaid scarf

Another scarf, this one using Red Heart Super Saver Bitty Stripes in color Mermaid. I used an I hook from Laurie. Finished size is about 6" x 70". Straight dc. foundation chain 20. 130 rows.

 

There is plenty left of the skein plus I have a second skein of this same yarn so more coming!

It's been taking me 3-4 days to make a scarf these days. I've been using simple patterns.
