dishcloths

While Isaac blew around us, I completed another dishcloth. That is three I've made with this pattern, all different sizes. I missed the last sc row on the yellow one but it's a dishcloth so ... I didn't bother to rip it. I sent all three off with my son as he moves to a new place. The yellow has 6 cross-overs, the blue has 7, and the peach has 8. Note that as you get wider, you also must get longer.

I really like this pattern. I have tweaked the original pattern a bit, so if you saved it off, you may want to have another look at the post to see which you prefer.

I am finishing up the tails on a Season 13 Doctor Who scarf. Will post pics when it's done, of course. That will give me a scarf for Seasons 12, 13, 14, and 18. A knitted 12.5 is in progress (not by me!). A 15 is waiting on the proper blue-grey. Most of these are not wide as the original. I intend to use them. Once I get these done, I am anxious to get back to making hats and scarves for the Bridge Project and also the Visiting Nurse Services in New York needs chemo hats desperately. So much need, so little time.

I also once again hurt my back so being in any position for too long is uncomfortable. Hopefully that will clear up soon and I will feel more like doing things. I know that I am blessed as some folks have pain constantly and this is only temporary.

Happy crocheting!

Isaac

Just a quick update to let you all know my family and I are fine. We have minor damages from Hurricane Isaac, but all in good health.

Power was out from Tuesday at 8:30pm to Saturday at 9:30pm.  We got Internet and cable back a few minutes ago (Monday about 10:30am). Still on limited sewerage use last I heard.

I'll post more later. Catching up on the hundreds of e-mails waiting though I did check some through my phone. Our cell service was spotty for the first few days after Isaac passed through.

Happy crocheting!
