teal blue scarves

Yarn: Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek in color Teal Blue. I used almost two skeins

Size: about 6" x 61"

Hook: J/6.0mm

Pattern: fdc 18, dc for 110 rows

On one of the skeins I had to cut out a few "joins" that were pretty obvious. The other skein was fine.

The yarn is what I consider heavy worsted. Hence the use of the J hook.

Oasis Beat scarf

Salena Baca posted this free Ombre Beanie hat pattern. I like that she gives different sizes and so much instruction. If you like to make hats or am ready to make your first hat, give it a look.

Yarn: I Love This Yarn Oasis Beat.

Hook: H/5.0mm

Size: 5 1/2" x 64"

Pattern: ch 21, dc across.

This is a #4 worsted yarn but I found it thin. I call it light worsted. That's why it came out narrower than I would have liked. The yarn itself is nice to work with. No bad spots. The colors flowed well. I added a single crochet border to give it slightly more width.
