Many of the scarves I've made in the past were sent to my dear online friend Millie who would then bring them to the soup kitchen in her area. I'm sad to report that Millie died a few days ago. She will be deeply missed.
Here is the scarf I finished today with a skein I got at Hobby Lobby.
Yarn: Yarn Bee Sugarwheel go go cocoa
Hook: I/5.5mm
Pattern: ch 22, dc across,115 rows
Size: 6 1/2" x 62"
I had no trouble at all with this yarn. I think I cut out one knot. The yarn flowed through my hook with ease.
We're expecting cold weather after Thanksgiving. My sil is bringing 45 scarves to Grace at the Green Light which serves the homeless in that area.
