Hurricane Francine

Hurricane Francine has come and gone. Hurricanes take up many days before it arrives as we prepare. At my house we keep a lot of the prep stuff on hand year round so we were well prepared.

Thankfully we have power.

We had minimal damage to our home and are now in the "after hurricane" phase, catching up on laundry and dishes and regular stuff.

The most excitement I think was a live power line falling on my daughter's car (nobody was in it). That has been taken care of by the kind folks at Entergy and they are now back home.

I do have crochet items to post but will do that in the next day or two.

Happy crocheting!

  1. Hadn't seen you post on FB so was wondering how you were fairing. It must get old dealing with this year after year. Glad things weren't bad for you and yours.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, Sandy! We're doing ok. Hurricane season is not over so we are still diligent in keeping an eye on the Atlantic. Hope all is well with you and yours.
