teal blue scarves

Yarn: Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek in color Teal Blue. I used almost two skeins

Size: about 6" x 61"

Hook: J/6.0mm

Pattern: fdc 18, dc for 110 rows

On one of the skeins I had to cut out a few "joins" that were pretty obvious. The other skein was fine.

The yarn is what I consider heavy worsted. Hence the use of the J hook.

Oasis Beat scarf

Salena Baca posted this free Ombre Beanie hat pattern. I like that she gives different sizes and so much instruction. If you like to make hats or am ready to make your first hat, give it a look.

Here's another scarf.

Yarn: I Love This Yarn Oasis Beat.

Hook: H/5.0mm

Size: 5 1/2" x 64"

Pattern: ch 21, dc across.

This is a #4 worsted yarn but I found it thin. I call it light worsted. That's why it came out narrower than I would have liked. The yarn itself is nice to work with. No bad spots. The colors flowed well. I added a single crochet border to give it slightly more width.

Peacock scarf

Starting the year off with a peacock scarf. I didn't have a full skein so to make sure I got the length I needed I made this one slightly less wide.

Yarn: Premier Basix in color Peacock

Hook: J/6.0mm

Size: 5 1/" x 63"

Pattern: fdc 16, 110 rows of dc

Gray scarf

Squeezing in one last post. This is still the Premier Basix but in color Gray. I only had one skein so this is all you get in the gray.

Size is about 6 1/2" x 63" using a J/6.0mm Furls wooden hook.

Foundation dc 18 and dc across for 110 rows.

Heavy worsted acrylic yarn flowed smoothly through my hook. I cut out one knot.

Pecan scarves

Probably the last post of 2025.
The yarn is Premier Basix in color Pecan. I finished three scarves with this yarn.

Size is about 6 1/2" x 61". Pattern is fdc 18, dc across for 110 rows. I'm making all the Basix scarves the same in case I decide to put them together into a blanket. Mulling it over.

The hook is part of the set my husband got me for Christmas. Tulip Etimo. One of my favorite hook types.
