Mosaic scarf

Yarn: Premier Basix Mosaic in color Sea

Hook: I/5.5mm

Pattern: Scarf 77 at Crochet Cabana

Size: 6" x 61"

This yarn is soft, easy to work with and I think I cut out one knot. I bought three skeins in this color and 2 in a different color so you'll be seeing those soon. This scarf was started a few weeks ago and finished with the new yarn. It matched up well.

Happy crocheting!

I'm very happy with this yarn. I had no knots to cut out at all. I have a few other colors so I'll be using it again.

Patons Canadiana scarf

Yarn: Patons Canadiana Pretty Baby and Paintbox yarn Simply Aran

Hook: H/5.0mm

Size: 6" x 66"

Pattern: ch 20, dc across. 10 rows each color. 6 sections white and 7 of variegated. Each 10 row section is 5".

I've always liked the Patons Canadiana yarn but since I've been using stash yarn for the past few years I haven't bought any recently. I found this in the bottom of my worsted bin along with a small amount from another skein. It was enough for the 7 sections plus the sc border.

I don't have much worsted left from my stash but this week I gave in and bought a few skeins of new yarn - a few from Herrschners and a few from Premier. The Herrschners yarn came in today. I will continue to make scarves with it. It's still pretty warm here but the cool temps will be here eventually. While waiting for cool to find its way to Louisiana, I'm sharing with my friend in New York.

Happy crocheting!
